Choosing the right Shape for your Glasses

Advice from our Opticians

The decisive factor in choosing your frames is the shape of your face. It's up to you to decide whether you'd rather match your glasses to your face, or whether you'd prefer to highlight your strong points to show off your personality.

Your face is round

You can soften this shape with large square or oval frames, while round frames accentuate the roundness of your face. Beware of frames that are too heavy - they accentuate the roundness of your face.

Your face is square

An oval, rather large model, or a fancy one with rounded contours, will suit you best. Choose slim frames, which will elongate your face and help soften harsh facial features.

Your face is triangular

Rimless models with holes are best for you. Avoid glasses that are all round or very angular, or frames that are too colorful.

Your face is oval

You're one of the 80% of spectacle wearers who can choose whatever they like, with the exception of frames that protrude laterally and unbalance the proportions of your face.
